Can anyone tell me how to extract photograph pictures from
power point documtents. I try copy and paste but no
possible as I can only copy and past in another pps
document.

what I want is to extract the pictures only and keep it as
a separate JPG bitmap photo file.

CTRL-C to copy, open Microsoft Photo Editor, click "Edit", "Paste as new
image", click "File", "Save as", select "JPG".

In addition to Bill's suggestion, if you're using PPT 2002 or 2003, you
can right-click the picture and "save as picture."

Or, in all versions, you can do a File/Save As and select an image type
from the drop-down list under "as type." Then open the images in an
image editing program and crop out the extraneous slide stuff so you're
left with just the pictures.
