Flash (SWF) files can be embedded into PPT files using an Active X control.
If you do indeed have an embedded SWF in the PPT file, you *might* be able
to extract it by using PPT's File/Save as HTML or File/Save As Web Page. The
result will be a folder full of files from your PPT file. The SWF may be in
there somewhere.
That's what I'd try, anyway.

Post by SumitActually, I received this as a pps [Presentation] in a mail. I just saved
that as a ppt thinking that I could extract the flash from it. But I couldnt
devise a way.
Post by Michael KoernerIt can't be embedded. it has to be linked. The file should be in the same folder
as your presentation.

I received a presentation that has a flash file embedded in one of the
slides. How do I extract that?
