I can enter a custom property in the file - properties - custom tab.
However, I can not find how to link information in my power point slide to
the custom propery. In word I am able to do this by inserting a field with
the docproperty command.

You can link content from slides to document properties but not the other way
around, unfortunately.

That is, you can set up a doc property that picks up its value from a text box
on a slide but you can't set up a text box or field that inherits its value
from a document property.

At least not w/o VBA.
